I celebrated my 65th birthday deployed as a volunteer with the American Red Cross in Kentucky and I felt truly blessed to be serving my fellow human beings at a time when kindness and compassion are needed most. It was an honor to serve alongside so many selfless volunteers who embody the Red Cross mission of alleviating human suffering.  I’m creating this fundraiser to support Red Cross volunteers work to deliver vital services – from providing relief and support to those in crisis, to helping collect lifesaving blood.
